Cilghal77
OK, I suffered and survived the initial setup problems, and was enjoying the game. Then I needed to reinstall windows. Since I was in the retooling phase, I also installed an Audigy sound card and a new CD-rom that supported it. My system is a Pentium III 500 mghz machine with a Nividia GEForce 3DForce2MX video card. I then reinstalled JK2. Before, when I was having problems, I could at least get to the options menu on the single player screen. Now, when I hit single player, the screen goes yellow for a few seconds, then black, and there is a pulsing staticy sound that comes on. Not even control-alt delete will get me back to the desktop. And yes, I have the latest (1.04) patch installed. Before, I had a problem with the open GL, which I was able to disable on the options screen. Now I don't know what to do.... Help.... Andy867
Apparently there are some issues with Audigy and Jedi Knight 2. Try rolling back to default drivers if possible, and see if that helps. Also, try disabling EAX in the Setup option IF it is enabled.
