WheelDweller
I've played LFL games since I bought my first game in 1989: The Battle of Britain. Year after year I've seen great games released from LFL, and since I'm SO DARNED STUBBORNED, I can't run a one of'em. But now that LFL's making money on Linux, both desktops and rendering farms are now making people happy (and well paid) in the CGI-farm, maybe it's time to throw back a little. Nothing outrageous, but here it is: OpenSource Battle of Britain. Or anything. The older code doesn't include anything 'DirectX' and anything new and complicated...but it would make a lot of people happy. No one's gonna use 1989 technology to unlock anything you've done recently....and if you're short on personnel, JUST release the code. Total price to you: zero! Yet, in the Linux world, it would come as a special treat; the only WW2 fighter-combat simulator that isn't owned by a world government. Please? Metallus
Well: 1.) Technically, this is an unofficial fan site, so although LucasArts employees do browse these boards from time to time, it's rare that any will post. 2.) What's an LFL? Does it hurt? 3.) This forum is really for help and feedback with forum issues, rather than game feedback/help requests/suggestions. Sorry for the confusion.
