DanteScott
I'm fairly new to making my own maps. I'd like to use some of the maps I've downloaded to make a custom level for my friends 10 year old, but I can't open a .bsp file in JKIIRadiant. Is there a way to convert the .bsp file back into a .map file in order to modify it?
Shadyz
No you cannot convert a .bsp back into a map or edit it. sorry.
Darth Link
there is a program that does that i think.
Leslie Judge
Yes, but I read that it losts all the entity and texture infos (if I remember) and some other stuff. Some say it is easier to build a map from scratch then convert back and redo the missing things.
Andy867
There is a program, but like Leslie Judge said, you'd be better off making the map from scratch as opposed to converting the .bsp to .map to edit. I tried with some custom levels and some Raven made levels just to see how they did some stuff, and it lost a lot of detail and such in just the conversion.
