Lord Headwound
My kid and his friend played Jedi the other day and now I can't update server list OR connect using GameSpy. GameSpy will give me a list of servers but when I try to connect it waits and waits then it times out. I looked through the jk2mpconfig but can't really determine if the problem would be in there. I have uninstalled completely and reinstalled; no change. What could possibly have happened? I should add that I didn ensure that 'Internet' was the selected source. Lord Headwound
Well, I tried All Seeing Eye as well. Same results. It goes to the jk2 loading screen but says 'awaiting connection' and the numbers just keep rolling. 12-15 attempts i usually give up. Again, I tried Joining a server from the jk2 menu but it'll just flash Getting Server Info forever with no servers showing up. The odd part is it worked fine 3 days ago. I can play other games online no problems. Dangerous and disturbing this mystery is...

Syndil
Same problem here. I should note that I can see servers in the favorite server list and join those, but I cannot update the list. Must be something with the master server, since the fav list is stored locally.
boggeyb
I am also having this *exact* same problem. It's driving me crazy. I uninstalled and reinstalled and then, before applying the 1.04 patch, loaded up JK2 and, sure enough, there was a LIST of servers I could join. I thought, "Oh, Good." So I reinstalled the 1.04 patch and tried and, boom, nothing. Same old, same old. It just sits and hangs. I have a DSL modem and the only time the light even blinks as though it's thinking is right after I click "Get New List" -- unfortunately a new list never happens. I have no idea how this happened. I also play Wolfenstein MP and it seems to use a similar format for finding current games, and the servers are stilll showing up there. I lost my Favorites list during my uninstall so I can't test that out (but it was working that way before I uninstalled -- I could see the favorites list but nothing else). But if it is the master server, why would it release information to pre1.04 games? /sigh Anyone who knows anything about this -- PLEASE help! Paesano
Hello, I have had this exact same problem. I did various things to get if fixed. First I went to Lucas arts web sites hoping to find a solution in their FAQ pages. No luck. Then I came to these forums, and saw that there were many others with my same plight, with no answers. No luck again. Then I ripped out my hair and hit my computer. Still no luck. Then I passed out out of anger and loathing for my situation. When I came too, I decided to install the 1.03 patch, THEN the 1.04 patch. EVERYTHING WAS FINE! LUCK!!! Try this, and if it works for you, post here so I know it didn't only work for me.
