ksk h2o Posted December 19, 2002 Share Posted December 19, 2002 what exactly do you mean with "muscles?" Do you mean the type of complex animations seen in pixar movies such as dinosaur? It is VERY tough to model muscular structure that will allow to deform the overlying skin realisticly. And you'd be much better off taking an advanced course in computer animation. My other guess is maybe you were talking about wieghing the mesh to the bones for a JKII player model (this being the JKII forums and all ) The best way to learn weighing is importing an XSI from the raven plugins, removing all the lod's but the primary one of course. and messing around with the weighing yourself to see what gives what. It takes a while but is the best way to learn how exactly to weigh a mesh. Spacemonkey's tutorial will give you a pretty good idea. For your first weighing tries, leave out the finger and facial bones and focus on the main body bodnes to make things easier. You will need 3ds max and not Gmax in order to be able to weigh the mesh to the bones though Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
