Admiral Derski
Can anyone help out here? Ive heard in quake 3 that there is a console command to show what your characters speed is while your moving, however I havent been able to find that either on this site or Planetquakes forums. Does anyone know the command or a place they can direct me??

griff38
Admiral, I am too lazy to go look it for you. But you can try this: In game bring up your consol and type: /cvarlist then use the page up & page down buttons to look at the commands. Look for something that has the FPS in it. Example: it might look like this /cg_draw fps "0" or "1" 0 means off 1 means on so to turn it on you would type: /cg_drawfps "1" Don't forget to hit enter. I often wonder how many new guys enter thr command and then close the consol. I'll take a look and get back with you.
Admiral Derski
Yeah I actually use the FPS monitor and you are correct that is the command, but what Im looking for is a command that shows your characters movement speed, for instance to see how fast im going when bunny hopping etc, Ive seen references to a command like this on Q3 forums but they never give the command. im gonna post there also to see if anyone can help. Thanks for the help
