Guest Jedi Kanigget
He (George Lucas)wants to go on and do other movies. He was originally planning to do a trilogy of trilogies, but apparently he has changed his mind. ------------------ Darth Wart's Strategy Guide in a friendly, easy to use form!(Sorry, that was bad.) http://JediPowerBattlesGuide.homestead.com/JPB.html

BTW, did anyone hear that Lucas is thinking of putting out a Star Wars TV (fully CGI) show after they finish EP. 3? ------------------ Check out my site for SW news rumors, fan fiction and chat! <A HREF="http://jedihorn1.homestead.com/jedihorn1.html There" TARGET=_blank>http://jedihorn1.homestead.com/jedihorn1.html There</A> is no emotion, there is peace. Guest Hannibal
Lucas won't do a 6, 7 and 8 because he'd be like 100 years old by the time the decided to make 'em. There's also no way he'd pass the movies along to someone else. It be cool if he decided to make them though. ------------------ In my dreams I'm a skeleton and I must constantly run by the squares to balance the tide between Good and Super-Good<br> Man-eating vice-president of the Un-Council

Guest Thermal
That's true. I don't think he'd let anyone, even Rick McCallum, do SW completely without him. Besides, like Hannibal said, he'd be about 75 by the time the next trilogy even started. From what I've read in actual interviews with him since the early 80's when ROTJ came out, he never was ABSOLUTELY going to do 9 movies, he just had some ideas for them. Remember that things really changed event WHILE he was makinf the first three. Luke and Leia weren't even twins in the first movie, that came later like a lot of other stuff. Changes got made all the way through. Qui-gon was never mentioned ion the first movies because he hadn't been thought up until 3 years ago. So even his rough ideas about sequels probably wouldn't make sense with out BIG rewrites anyway.
Guest jedihorn1
Incidentally, Mark Hammil(Luke Skywalker) has said that Lucas approached him about the possibility of making a SW 7. He said that it would be fully CGI and that he would have the original actors do ther voice overs for the characters. The movie was supposedly set while Luke was 70 and about the ressurection of the Jedi order. Lucas said by the time they got around to making the movie CGI will be so good that you wont even know the actors were not real. Guest 84Elan
Beast master has some list of reading material but It can all be summed up in the book "Star Wars The Essential Cronology" I just got through reading it and it was great it is written kind of like a history book and tells the tail of the begining of the sith all the way too what seems to be the end It says that its scholors are still trying to unlock damaged info for the time period of Episodes 2 and 3 but other than that it is a great book. It covers just about all of the books listed in BeastMasters list but in a much more abreviated way.
