WinXP --> "Could not load OpenGL subsystem"

Hi !!

Since i have Windows XP on my PC JKII does not start...

 

When I want to start the Game (SP/MP) the console opens, the screen turns gray (resolution changes to 640x480) - but then there's the error: "GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem"

the same thing happend to me, have u read the troubleshooting guide, it has the same error listed in there, any ways u what u need to do is buy a new video card. the error pops up because ur card is not 100% open GL compatible, so u need to get one that is.

i had the same problem, i sorted it by getting the most up to date direct-x, and drivers for my video card.

When you install Windows XP, it installs a new driver for Nvidia cards, but does not install the complete driver. Download the Nvidia driver at their website.

 

If your card is not an Nvidia card, then I have no idea how to fix it.
