Joshi Posted January 4, 2003 Posted January 4, 2003 the first game is about a lovably inept guy called Guybrush threepwood who wants to ebcoem a pirate. to do this, he must face three tasks, becomeing a goos sword fighter, stealing an idol from the governors mansion of Melee island and finding a great treasure. in doing this, he falls in love with teh governor, Elaine Marley. but after completing the trials, he finds that elain has been kidnapped by LeChuck, an undead pirate with his skelatal horde, who wants to marry her. lechuck holds her on a remote island called Monkey island. you sail off to find her and concoct a voodoo antiroot which should kill all undead pirates. but then you find that she ahs been taken back to melee island to marry her. can guybrush save her ni time, play teh agme and find out. that's teh first game briefly, the second third and fourth are better, well, not so much the fourth, and slightly less than the second the third, but the second is great with a twisted ending. play them.

If adventure games aren't your thing, this might be the one that you like...for me it opened my doors to adventure games. I never liked pirates till this game either....rode Pirates of the Caribbean ride probably 4 times after playing MI1&2
