wassup Posted January 3, 2003 Share Posted January 3, 2003 If you create your own server, then you can use that skin against bots or other players that might join your server. If you go into the in-game server browser/utility, select a server, and click SERVER INFO in the bottom-right corner of the screen, a window should pop up listing a bunch of info. In that bunch, it should indicate whether the server is PURE or UNPURE. If the server is PURE, then if you join it, you may only use the skins that the host (the maker/creator) of the server has in her/his Gamedata/base folder. If they have the QuiGon skin in that folder, then you should be able to use it in-game. If the server is UNPURE, the other player(s) must have that skin downloaded and in their Gamedata/base folder in order to view it in-game, however, you can still use it in the server and see the skin yourself, on your own moniter.
