greedo626 Posted January 6, 2003 Share Posted January 6, 2003 well the 49ers beat the giants (how did the giants let them do that?) and the steelers beat the browns(what an exciting game). so next week the falcons take on the eagles, the steelers are at the titans, the 49ers play the bucs, and the jets play the raiders. make you predictions here. mine are: steelers at titans: the steelers haven't hit hitting all the right notes but the titans need to pull out some tricks to win. and after the steelers fourth quarter comeback yesterday I'm gonna go with the steelers by a hair. jets at raiders: the jets are on a roll with two blow out games againts green bay and the colts. the raiders are gonna have to play their best to even have a chance. and chad pennington seems unstoppable. I'm going jets 32 to 24. flacons at eagles: the battle of the birds. it's all going to come down to the quarterbacks. the eagles will need to shut down vick and get their own quarterback situation sorted out. I'm going eagles (just barely). 49ers at bucs: the 49ers pulled off one of the biggest late game come backs in nfl history yeasterday to beat the giants. but I think the buck stops at the bucs for the 49ers (haha I'm so fuuny:p). I'm going with the bucs 24 to 12. please don't post about how stupid (American) football is or that you don't watch sports. this is for the people who are following the playoffs. thank you. adillon Posted January 6, 2003 Share Posted January 6, 2003 AFC i think the jets will keep rolling along ... they sure helped out the eagles in their last regular season game. thanks to the J-E-T-S jets jets jets, the eagles have home field throughout the playoffs. the raiders are good, but i think the jets are better. the steelers sure had a killer comeback yesterday. i saw the browns were up by 17 points in the 3rd quarter and thought the game was pretty much over. i turned the game back on with about 50 seconds left in the game and couldn't believe my eyes. with that kind of comeback and for not giving up when all seemed lost, i'll say pittsburgh beats tennessee. NFC i'm thinking the bucs over the niners. why? keep reading ... ahh, the falcons and the eagles. this saturday night at 8 PM. rest assured my a$$ will be parked at the bar watching mcnabb show vick why he's worth every penny he's getting paid. vick is good, don't get me wrong, but the little rookie is due for a whooping. all i gotta say is ... E - A - G - L - E - S ... EAGLES! so, you wanna know why i want the bucs to win? bring them up to philly ... they are HORRIBLE in cold weather. when the bucs and eagles play, the word SMEAR come to mind. warren sapp has nothing ...
