Crazy_Ivan Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 I bet this is the dumbest thing you've read, but please hang in there. I made my map, put an info_player_start in the level, then I compiled..... Then I went to JKII Single Player to test it....starts loading and BAM....its says "Cannot Find a Spawn Point". I don't know what to do about it.....I might even be wrong about assuming its about the info_player_start. Thanks for your time. Help if you can!
Eldritch Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 Try putting a info_player_deathmatch in as well as using the info_player_start and recompile and see what happens.
Takeoffyouhoser Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 jsut to play it safe, put your info player start a few units above the ground.... then try to run it....
Crazy_Ivan Posted January 12, 2003 Author Posted January 12, 2003 Im still getting the message of "Error: Cannot Find A Spawn Point" when I try to play the map..... I have both an Info_player_start and an info_player_deathmatch

Try loading it up in Multiplayer and see if it works. Radiant has separate mapping modes for MP and SP.
Crazy_Ivan Posted January 12, 2003 Author Posted January 12, 2003 Its a multyplayer map...but I still get the same "Couldnt find a spawn point message"
Leslie Judge Posted January 12, 2003 Posted January 12, 2003 And are you sure those spawn point are inside your map?
Mech-Ryu Posted January 12, 2003 Posted January 12, 2003 Try changing the project settings, make it a multiplayer project.. File > Project Settings > Mapping Mode > Multiplayer Then put in your info_player_deathmatch, make that several units above floor level, and then compile.. Open up JK2 multi and enter in console.. /sv_pure 0 /devmap "map name" Map name being what you called your map.. Hope that helps.
