Jk2 DEMOS

Hi all,

Im starting with jk2 videos.

I use cl_avidemo, get screenshots, then i convert em,etc

It works fine.

The problem is:

I have big sized demos, and i want to get only some part of the demo, per example, i want to start cl_avidemo at 10:00 minutes of a certain demo and then stop ant 12:00.

Q3 engine cant take up to 10000 screenshots in a folder, so what i would need was some way to manage the demo, like fast forwarding, stop, start cl_avidemo, etc

This is something that works for other games in quake 3 engine, but it doesnt in jk2.

I ve tried to do some scripts, but everytime i hit a key or try to call console, the demo stops and jumps back to setup menu.

I also tried something like: cl_avidemo 20;demo xxx;timescale x; wait xxx; timescale x

But all i get is some weird graphics, stuff like crosshairs and stuff, no demo showed.

Any solution?

Why does it work in quake 3 and not in jk2?
