Johch Ai'oki
It's kind of hard to explain. How I see it which kind of make sense on how Jedi use the force on this situation is when they speed up, what they're actually doing is using the force to slow down everything happening around them. How we non force users see it, the Jedi are blur. If they talk it's gibberish. If they run, it's like seeing Superman go faster than a speeding bullet. Or view it like the Matrix (I hadn't seen Reloaded or Revolutions yet), how the Agents can break the rules of time to dodge bullets, like how Neo can dodge bullets, or how Smith or Neo can punch super fast it looks like their hands turn into one hundred speeding hands. They go out of linear time, the way they are in time is different from the way we are in time. They become non-linear to our time. It's basically warping time for themself, like (I know you ST-haters hate this analogy but being a basic SF fan I must!) how Kirk's Enterprise goes to Warp Speed. They go faster than light. (I prefer SG1 over Trek, and Wars over both, FYI) The force is hard to understand, really. We are not Jedi. It's not really told in a first person view, how we feel, see the Force, how we experience manipulating things with the Force. Thank goodness EU helps a bit. Now I didn't use any EU stuff on Luke through his days after Ep. 6 though! That's History EU, not EU in other subjects like the basic idea of feeling the Force. Johch Ai'oki
Well first, they don't waste my life. And after having learned some values from the movies, they were a bit useful. Second, if you're not serious about debate, you're likely to get pounded against people with opposing points of view that have a little more validity (sp?) in their reasoning. I wonder how you are with politics? Oh, and I go outside a lot, thank you very much.
