boinga1
OK, I read the icarus manual and all. I go to Radiant, make a tiny little test room. In it, i place some lights, a spawn point, a trandoshan with NPC_targetname trandoshan1, and two waypoint_navgoals, with targetnames #1 and #2. compile that and all, no problem. Then I go into behaved. I add an affect "trandoshan1". Insert "Task ["walk to #1"]"-"set ["SET_NAVGOAL" "#1"]". i add a dowait for "walk to #1". II then repeat the process using #2 instead of #1. There are two "set" commands to use. I have used the lower one. When I try to use the top one, it has Include Error!!! where the SET_NAVGOAL should go. Can anyone help me, and am i in the wrong forum?
War Master
Did you configure BehavED? You usually get the include error when it's not configured. Go to preferences and see if you have the correct paths for everything.
boinga1
Yay! reconfigured to JKII defaults (mostly) and the error is gone.
boinga1
errrmmm...having more problems...anyone have a good tutorial on scripting?
lassev
Yeah, here's an address to the tutorials of Old Master Kengo: http://www.geocities.com/kengomaps/ They are good, at least in the beginning of your path. There were no tutorials at all in the good old times, when I was young and started on the glorious, if painful, road of ICARUS scripting... Best way to learn ICARUS is to try'n'try and read the Raven scripts.
