TK_Nutritious
I'm tryin to help out a friend of mine who's having problems w/his jk2 game. Whenever he tries to view a demo or sometimes when joining a game it crashes and gives him message: client/server mismatch, base team assault 1.0b error, or something like that. Anyone have any ideas?
Bilbo Skywalker
this is about all i could dig up, doesnt mean anything to me, but it may make sense to you? http://seer.cancer.gov/seerstat/WebHelp/SeerstatServer_Version_Mismatch_Dialog.htm supplied this: Server Version Mismatch Dialog SEER*Stat can be run in a local mode or in client-server mode. You will only get the Server Version Mismatch dialog box when you are running in client-server mode. One of four dialog boxes will come up if there is a mismatch between the version of SEER*Stat being used on the on the server and your installed version of the seerstat.exe file. The Server Mismatch dialog box may offer these alternatives for fixing the problem: Auto-update automatically downloads and installs a new version of SEER*Stat onto your computer that is compatible with the version of SEER*Stat on the dedicated SEER hardware. This choice is recommended if you use the dedicated SEER hardware to run your analyses with the most recent version of the software. Change your Primary Data Location from the Preferences dialog box. This choice is useful when you are intentionally running specific version(s) of SEER*Stat software. It sends you to the Preferences dialog box where you can select the appropriate path for your Primary Data Location. No choice but to go back to the Preference dialog box and either select a different Primary Data Location or close the software. When you are using a local area network or read-only media (such as a CD) the choice to overwrite the software is not available --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.novell.com/documentation/lg/nw42/index.html?sysmsenu/data/hp6x3pm5.html supplied this: Explanation: NetWare supports NIS/YP Version 1 and 2 protocols. An attempt was made to get service through one or the other from an unsupported non-NetWare protocol.
