Maniac Richard
I am currently working on a huge map called ffa_london_eye, but when i 'full vis' it comes up with a message at the end of the process saying that 'lightmaps exceed max memory'. I have tried to cut down on some height but it still comes up each message each time. Does anyone know a way round this???
Eldritch
First off, you should be using BSP FastVis to test your map. It will compile more quickly because BSP FullVis and BSP FullVis Extra are for the final compiles (right before you release them) and they take more time. Second, I'm not familiar with the error that you're getting. How are you lighting your map? Are you using a light emitting shader or sky? Is it completely lit with light entities? Are you using a ambient light value? Or is it a combination? Please specify, perhaps it will help to narrow it down.
Leslie Judge
Look around on the SplashDamage forums. There's a thread started by Emon about this error. You also can find a thread started by AKPigott here.
