Zathu Koon Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 Alright, one of the players on my server has a dynamic IP, and he is nothing but a trouble maker. Whenever I ban him, hes back in a few minutes. Has anyone successfully banned dynamic IPs using some sort of method that could be shared?

Pa3PyX Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 I'm not sure if this is possible in JK, but try banning by hostname instead of IP, first use ping -a [iP] to find out their hostname (which is likely static, even though the IP is dynamic), then ban this hostname instead of IP. In the text above, all add route's should be route add's in Windows systems.
