Am building a 12 man server for jedi knight 2

 

the machine am using is an old machine i have specs as followed

 

Asus a7n8x deluxe 10/100 realtek lan

Xp2000

2x512 pc2100 c2.5 ram

40gb hd

geforce 2 ultra

cable 1.5dl 300k upload

 

WIll this be enough for a 12 man low ping dedicated server?

As long as you keep the sv_maxrate under 7,000 for 12 people, say about 5000, you should be fine because dedicated servers really don't need to be gaming systems themselves to host since they only do the calculations and none of the graphical rendition. Let me know how it goes because I've been wanting to get my server back up and running and am looking to get a working server file (of course with proper credentials changed to make it to be what I need) and with my 3mb dl, 1.5 mb upload, I can host pretty well, although I tend to join the games from time to time to help clean up any *ahem* unruly *ahem* characters.
