Anyways, How can you make your character a "living" character. Does it change the way you play?
If you treat your character like a simplified real life person, it will change your way of playing, since it will make it easier to get immersed in the game than if you were "me, but in the starwars universe with a blaster". It will affect how you socialize, and how you reach decisions. Instead of "what would I do?" you'll have to think "what would my character, with the views and experience he/she has, do?". Instead of the usual gaming experience, you get a flavour of improvisation theater added to it. Vital things to decide for your character to make it more real is things like what is his/her view of killing a human/humanoid being? In this case, it will propably very different than your own, since violence is more common in the SW universe. Also, what does my character do when he/she relaxes?,what is his/her favourite food, does my character have a favourite saying? (admit it, anyone saying 'I've got a bad feeling...' does make you think of Han Solo!) small things like this, that doesn't neither affect your combat effectiveness or your ability to be jedi will make your character less of a combination of stats, and more of a person. Oh, yes, that's simply what it is about: making your character a person, not a bunch of stats. Also can you please explain this game to me. Like what happens after you create your character can you chose what side you want to be on right fter you create your character.
Well, you start out as neutral, and you will have to perform missions and gather respect from either the empire or the rebellion for you to be able to join them. They don't accept every riff-raff out there, do they? This, however, doesn't make it impossible for you to decide that your character is loyal to one of the sides, and will join it as soon as you are possible to. But no, you can't start out as an imp leutenant or a rebel trooper. I mean do you just start on a planet and then can freeroam to where you want to?
Yes. There is no 'plot' you have to follow, you'll make one yourself. You go through a brief tutorial to teach you how to play, then you'll have a choise of many cities and planets to begin at. The devs has recently hinted that they plan to give you initial items with hints at missions, but you are free to discard these missions. You can't roam everywhere, some exotic places (for instance, Endor and Dathomir) will have to be 'unlocked', think of these as places so dangerous that they are not suitable for beginning characters. Last can you be a bounty hunter? I love bounty hunters. THANK YOU FOR ALL REPLIES! Peace out! Yes. You can be a bounty hunter. You'll have to master a lot of skills before you'll reach your goal (If I'm not entirely wrong, Marksman, Brawler and some of the Scout tree), but eventually you'll reach it if you are dedicated.
