Takeoffyouhoser Posted January 25, 2003 Share Posted January 25, 2003 i have jsut downloaded Kengo's new map and found out that the Npc's mouths do not move when they talk. Is there alot of scripting involved to do this, or, aren't some models " talkable " i need my characters mouths to move.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Emon Posted January 25, 2003 Share Posted January 25, 2003 The models need to have the right weighting and stuff for that to work. All the default models, except for things like stormtroopers and such, will work. There's a talking command or something in ICARUS which does that. Unfortunatly, it's not as good as the stuff from the UberTools Q3 (Ritual's Q3 engine enhancements, three years old and better than most new Q3 games...), which can extract movements from speach, but it gets the job done.
