000nate
Right now I understand elevators pretty much however the elevator I reated wants to move up when I want it to move down (how can I change this?)
Johnny-Rico
i think that u need the elevator to be on the floor and make the hight of what u want so in the game the elevator will start form the up. it has to be on the ground(down) to be up
000nate
Hmmm but I don't think you see what I'm saying. The elevator wants to start BELOW where I put it not ABOVE.
Euth
I think that if you hit 'n' and bring up the entities while the elevator is selected there should be an option that you can toggle to set where the elevator starts - at least there is on Radiant anyway..... Leslie Judge
Just give it a negative height value. And of course place it at the bottom of its way.
Darth Kaan
Uh, no..... The simplest way to get one to go down, then repark at the top is to place it at the bottom of its travel in radiant, then just set the height value to - whatever the value is. I did this in my Saberwars map and it worked just fine.
Leslie Judge
Funny. So which is the good solution?
Dragarius
Or drop the func_plat idea and use func_door which will start where you put it.
