It was the episode where it was Marilynn's birthday, and Eddie gave her a ring from the attic. But as Grampa pointed out, it no ordinary ring, It was " The Fergosi Emerald " , which was cursed. Now, the force crystals that the Shadowtroopers drop would make a wonderful " Fergosi Emerald " , since they are green and all. I also know that the force crystals , when picked up, do not stay in your inventory. NOW, would it be possible to mess around with the force crystals code to make it just a plain item, that doesn't do a damned thing when you pick it up, except stay in your inventory, say " The Fergosi Emerald ", and give me a fantastic storyline !!!!!!!! or would it be possible /easier just to make a model of an emerald, and add it as a new item, that does the same as the above paragraph states? Would you make it so that players can toss the emerald at other players, thus making their luck (and their chance to block saber attacks?) - bad luck? And make them hold it for a particular ammound of time before they can throw it elsewhere? Hey, that sounds pretty cool, actually. First off, I am making a Single player adventure, not multiplayer stuff.....this will explain everything.. the Fergosi Family came to the New Galaxy 10 generations ago, from the Old Planet. Wanting a better oppurtunity to increase their business ( Brewing beer ) and going into some new areas ( importing and exporting), Giovanni Fergosi packed up all his belongings, and his family,hopped a starship, and came to the new world. Bringing with him the Fergosi Emerald. this Emerald is enchanted, with 1000 hit points and maximum charisma ( with a +2 to detecting traps! ), and brings fairly good luck to people of the Fergosi bloodline. To all others, its brings frustrating misfortunes and bad luck. Upon coming to the new world, the Fergosi family ran into the Barukburgs. These , too, were immigrants searching for better business oppurtunities. The Barukberg family business of importing, exporting, and some under the table bounty hunting, was always second to the Fergosi's successes. The Barukburgs needed a way to get one up on their competition. Finding out about the Family's lucky charm, Reelo Barukburg, the family's worst importer, exporter, and under the table bounty hunter, decides to , and succedes in, stealing the Fergosi Emerald while the family was engaged in a heated game of canasta. Not believing much in luck, Reelo didn't think twice of possesing the gem, and was only conerned with getting one up on the Fergosi family. The Fergosi's couldn't pay anyone enough to go after this Emerald, except for one man....................... Dirk MacKenzie, part time Private Investigator, full time living off the Family trust fund, along with his faithful servant droid Belvedere. Now,this is where the level is going to start, in Dirks Office.... So i cannot get into too much here, now... so you see, Wudan, the Fergosi Emerald is not to be thrown at anyone, dropped or used at all. It will sit in a chamber in Reelo's hideout, until Dirk finds it.... Dirk will pick it up, this will trigger and event... and thats that..... Sweet eh ? Simple !!!! the level design will have some scripted events. cutscenes and dialogue showing, for one, the flooded lower level of the command area... and in the cutscene having the one Rodian telling the other its all Reelo's fault for this place falling apart..... you guys jsut ahve to use your imaginations here.... its not going to affect gameplay, in the sense of the the player character or NPC AI, but its going to help tell the story....
