000nate
I've been using a rock texture called rock2. I need the rock texture not to emit light. (when I don't put any lighting in my room the walls are as still bright as day. Is there a way I can change this or edit the texture file or something. Please any help would be appreciated. Takeoffyouhoser
well, you can probably change the line in the Rock2 shader, the one that tells it to emit light. you can probably remove that line from the shader code... i could be wrong... so someone back me up here.... Matt-Liell
when you are compiling your map is it full vis?
Marzgog
This is the fullbright problem... ...it can be solved by making the map complex enough, you can for example put some x-wings or spheres in a room a bit away from your actual map, and delete em' when you know you've made a map complex enough. Oh yeah, if any sentences dont make sence then please understand im spending my friday-saturday night at 3 AM doing this...
000nate
rock2 is not a shader its a normal .jpg file. And I'm compiling it in fastvis 1/
000nate
um Marzog what are you talking about?
Leslie Judge
I think he talks about when you have a too small and simple map. However the fullbright problem more often caused by a leak in your map. Look in junk.txt (it's in TEMP folder or in GtkRadiant folder if you use Gtk 1.2.11) for details.
