Matt-Liell
I made custom textures for my map and they work fine it GTK but ingame they don't work, I know you have to zip them up in the .pk3 but when I try that it doesn't work. How do you zip them up?
000nate
if you mean how to create a pk3 file you will need to download packscape and make a/many folders for your textures to point to the right directory. But could you be a little more specific.
Matt-Liell
I know how to make .pk3's I'm one of the people that introduced Pakscape here, I need to know the directory in which to zip them up.
000nate
In the past I've put them in the textures/skies directory than just loaded the skys in jk2.
Matt-Liell
They aren't skies though will it work? And what do you mean by this? Originally posted by 000nate or the directory
Wes Marrakesh
Ok. In pakscape, make a folder called textures. Open that up, and make a new folder with a name that matches the folder of your custom textures... i.e. your folder is base/textures/matt-liel/, in pakscape it would be textures/matt-liell. 000nate
yes it will still work. I do it all the time. And that was a mistake when I typed in or the directory, and I corrected it.
