Andy867 Posted February 5, 2003 Share Posted February 5, 2003 yea, the problem with the CD cracks is that they have to alter the JK2SP.exe and JK2MP.exe executable files in order to bypass the copyright protection, which you shouldn't be doing anyways, even if you own the game. The problem with altering the EXE file is that it does certain memory calculations, and when the right string or code is skipped due to this altered EXE file, problems can and will occur.
