How do you make lights go on and turn off in a few secs?

like a flashing effect? Someone helped me here but unfortuneatly i lost the tutorial :(

You'd have to use dynamic lighting. Check Rich Diesal's tutorials for full instructions on how to implement them properly. You'll find a link to the tutorials in the stuck thread at the top of this forum.
