Dark Liquid Posted February 7, 2003 Share Posted February 7, 2003 Ok I am new to this game and I have a question. In a recent multiplayer game I saw other players using Grip and Lightning force powers but I could not get mine to work. They did not appear on my force list when I rotated through the powers. ToppDog Posted February 7, 2003 Share Posted February 7, 2003 You have to configure your powers in the game menu upon joining the game. It's possible you skipped it & joined right in or you didn't choose those particular powers. Either that or you were playing in a game with a mod that allowed others to have force while you didn't. Silverhawk2000 Posted February 7, 2003 Share Posted February 7, 2003 At any time during a game you can also click on Esc (Escape) To bring up the top menu Select Player From here you can configure your player - Choose your portrait - Change Light Sabre Color - Configure Force Powers Also, you choose wethere you want to use dark or light side powers When you switch to dark, 4 of the light side powers get replaced with things like Grip and Lightning. Happy Gripping! Better to grip than be gripped. Becareful not to overuse grip, or you will be labled a Grip Whore! (ie: someone who racks up kills by gripping people and tossing them to their death.
