Spawning Entities in MP

Just a quick question here.

Is it possible to use the /g2animent command used in JediMod, without playing with JediMod?

 

I know how to use the /g2animent and /g2platoon commands in JediMod; but is there anyway to spawn NPCs in MP with basejk?

 

I've done some tests, and JediMod is the only way to spawn entities in MP.

 

Any help would be great. Thanks. :)

As far as I can recall, the code for g2animent is commented out of the basejk source. JediMod removed the commenting, and apparently added a little more functionality (I don't remember /g2platoon from the source). So, no, you need a mod to spawn animents.

As for the help with my question:

 

My clan I'm in regulary use the spawns in RP missions.

The only modifications that have the g2animent enabled are JediMod, JediPlus, and OmniMod, are there any others? :confused:

Hey, that sounds pretty cool, I thought the only people who messed around with the animents were me and a friend of mine. Spawn a bunch of bad guys, then set the timescale to something low and cut them down with the disruptor...it's great.

 

I was considering making a mod that put one player against another, where you could pay resources to spawn certain animents and fight a war with them until one player went down. Sort of like an RTS in the JK2 environment. However, I don't really have the time or the willpower to get it done :(

 

But, to actually answer your question, I don't know of any other mods that include the g2animent code...
