Darth berserker
I have Win ME, and I have already re-installed jk2 and radiant. With that said, let us move in to the problem. When I load textures in gtk radiant 1.2.11 the program stops responding and I have to restart it. Finally, I don´t know if it´s the right forum, but it´s a mappnig-tool... Eldritch
For the larger texture sets (especially on older computers), it can sometimes take a while for all the textures to load up. Are you sure it stops responding, or are you just not waiting long enough?

Leslie Judge
It means only that GtkRadiant is not taking care about Windows' messages, because it has something else to do. If you can see the log window at the bottom of the screen, you also can see what the program is doing. If there is no activity for a long time, then yes, something went wrong probably. master_thomas
This happened to me with starting Radiant in the first place. My computer was starting non-existent processes randomly and lag was high. It was my first time starting Radiant. After waiting 5 minutes for it to start, I checked the task manager and it wasn't responding so I closed it and tried 20 more times. (At the time I was dumb and impatient.) After a week I tried again and got so angry at my computer I started to keep opening Radiant until it 30 were starting. I left for a while to calm down and returned and they had all started . I closed 29 of them and started JK2 Radiant for the first time.
