Forces in multiplayer jedi knight 2

I just reinstalled jedi knight 2 after not playing it for a while.

 

I joined a multiplayer duel game for the first time.

 

Other players are using grip and level 2 forces - I have them bound to keys but they dont work.

 

I have the push and pull bound to F and G and they work. What am i doing wrong ?

I didnt know about these different stances - which is best for duelling ? yellow ?

You probably need to go into the player setup and re-assign points to the force level to make them come active, also some servers have made it so only certain force powers will work, which is also a possibility for why the push and pull forces won't work.

I've looked in the setup and cannot find any way to do this. re-assign points ? I dont understand.
