yangyan Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 Hey i have a BSP Compilation Problem with Q3MAP2.exe in Windows XP. The message is Something about "File Version Incorect. Current: 46, must be 1" Anyone know why? (Sorry for the title.)
000nate Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 I have no idea. You might want to try reinstalling radiant.
Tigris Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 You compiled your map for Quake3 Ok, now- how to fix this: Download Q3Map2-Builder here. Then fill out all the directory infos (where your jk2mp.exe is, the directory where you have q3map2- and in game insert jk2).. Then enable the following in the BSP-Options: -meta The Vis-Option can be left as is (everything unchecked). Then in the Light-Options select the following: -fast -filter -patchshadows If you aren't totally sure that your map isn't leaked select the pause in the bsp part. Now just select your map from the top-window and click on build. Afterwards it should play perfect.
