Shaders a little help,

The shader type you are looking for is environment mapping.

However, I would tell you to beware since putting complex shaders such as environment maps on a lot of tiny map objects such as bottles, glasses can realy eat out capacity from your graphics card. I would say make the object without such a shaders, especially if there are going to be a numbers of these objects on the map. Just add a "shine" to the TGA file of the skin if you want to make it look like glass with a shine on it. You really dont need to put a shaders on such tiny objects.

Well, If you use a texture that was made by someone, or a model that was made by someone, and edit this texture/model to create something new, no matter how different the end result looks, you should give credit to the original creator of the model.

For ex, if I wanted to "edit" the boba/jango model to create some new armored character, I should and would credit the original creatr of this model. It is also a good idea to ask their permission before doing anything like this as some modelers/skinners take their work quite seriously and do not want anybody editing their work.

Or another good reason for a credit is if they helped out with a major part of the model by DOING something for you. For example if I had sent you a texture I had created and said, hey man use this texture on the bottle, it will look cool and very glass like, then you should credit this person for it.

Advice is allways free, but if they do WORK for you (such as weigh your model, align the tags, etc) then they probably would want some credit for the work they have done.

These are of course, my own views. Most people will have a different idea about this, and some might disagree with what I said... its very similar to courteous behavior. Some like to be VERY courteous, some are OVER courteous and some are just plain rude. And/Or many people are courteous in their own way, depending on what they think is important. :)

waah.... That reminded me of some converstaions I've had at very late hours when at the end of the conversation we realized we had been going on about different things... hehe.

That donate credits thing is a forum internal point thingy which I don't really use... I mean it might come in handy to make sticky threads and all, but I dont see much utility to it. :)
