chaos_iamgod Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 i have a problem, recently i downloaded the JK2 editing tools and i used paint shop pro to edit some files of kyle to make a new skin for multiplayer. So i did all that and saved the changes uder different names. I also made a copy of the model_default_kyle.skin file and made a new folder in players. Then i opened up the copied model_default.skin and edited the commands with wordpad, i then saved. now the problem is i go into multiplayer main menu under setup and my new icon is there, i then click on it and start a game. before the game begins a menu pops up forcing me to pick a different skin. if i don't pick a different skin it will change automatically on me. what did i do wrong? did i need to make a pk3.file. another quick question, will the md3 max 5.1 demo work to edit Jk2 files? thanx for any help you can provide.
topshot Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 Well, I take it the problem was you didn't create a .pk3 file. That's something I believe you need to do. PM me if you need any easy .pk3 compiling tools.
