How hard is it to convert Quake 3 maps/player models to JK2?

I have a couple of player models as well as a map that I would like to convert over from Quake 3 into JK2. I have recieved a couple of requests on these player models & I have requested Kevin Coyles help on this, but you can never have too much help. Does anyone know if this is going to be a difficult task to do?

 

I'm not a modeller or mapper myself, so I can't really say one way or the other myself. Any feedback would be appreciated.

if i remember it wasnt to hard

 

BUT theres one problem

 

compile times hit the roof. i think its when trying to make a map with objects originally made in EFradiant

 

but now i cant remember what program i used to convert them =[[
