Next to your avatar in the upper righthand corner you'll see some points called "Store Credit" on the same page, you'll see a little link (on the left hand side) called "store." Go to the store and if you have enough credits you can "buy" this and other features. You get credits by starting threads and replying. Now don't go spamming, but now you know. ; ) Incidentally, my own glowy name doesn't show up in Opera (which I use more than IE) oh well...!
