Sifo_Dyas_03
Hi All, I'm having problems creating a multiplayer game of JK2. I seem to be doing everything right, but nobody can see my 'game' online. I have successfully hosted games before, and I cannot see what I'm doing differently I would greatly appreciate any help anyone could give me. Andy867
To assist you better, we will need to know what your computer specs are, what settings you have for networks, what version of the game you are running, anything with your internet connection, things of that nature. chrix
i have the same problem, i tried to start a LAN game with my brother but he cant see my server on the list. cant see any other servers on the list either my specs are: P4 2.1ghz 512mb ram 32 mb video card(cant remember what kind) Dsl connection to the internet and of course, a lan connection to the other machine ; p2 350mhz 160mb ram 32mb tnt 2 video card dsl connection to the internet at first i thought it might be because my dsl modem is plugged into the uplink of the hub connecting those 2 machines (they both use the same modem, at the same time, but its not ICS) but then i set it up so there was no modem, only the computers (both with the hub and direct connect) and i still couldnt get any servers. this sux :/

Andy867
Are you running a router with your internet connection, if so, there could be complications.
Sifo_Dyas_03
No router, just a simple USB ADSL modem that connects directly to the phoneline. Could having extra maps and characters installed into JK2 have any adverse effect?
Sifo_Dyas_03
Just thought I'd put in that the problem is now solved, I only host online games when I play with friends, and we worked it out searching for IP addresses, so let the games begin! Thanks for the time though!

copo
Alright. I'm very new at this and no I'm not joking. I have no clue how to start and run one. Do I just do what it says in the JK manual? Lol I'm very confused.
