Deadly Geezer
Can I replace the MP3 songs heard in the SP missions or MP maps with my own? I know the game uses an MP3 file, but I cant find it in the directory. Any help is appreciated.
Samuel Dravis
yes. to replace the original game music, you need to make a new pk3 with the correct file structure (music/somefolder OR mp3. ) To see what files you need to pak up, open assets0.pk3 with a zip program (winzip, pkzip etc) and look under the folder 'music'. to compress your files to pk3, just compress them as a zip and rename to asdf.pk3 (where asdf is the filename)
Zappa_0
Well I think you might like this program that was put out on jk2files and pcgamemods. Its called music changer and in the latest version you can get music from ur hard drive to play in JO. I couldn't find the one on jk2files, but I do remember seeing it their, but there both the same so no worries. Also you may consider just using winamp or what ever device you use to listen to mp3's in game. Just go to the options and turn the sound volume off...it works for me. http://www.pcgamemods.com/file.php?id=dabd8d2ce74e782c65a973ef76fd540b

Kurgan
A work around of course is just to turn off the music (in setup) and run winamp minimized on repeat mode in the background.
