Shao Posted April 6, 2003 Posted April 6, 2003 Hey there. I just downloaded the ROTJ Luke Skywalker skin pack. My problem is, the taunt is far too quiet, so I wanted to know how I could edit it to make it louder. I tried increasing the volume in the Sound Recorder Entertainment program (in Accessories), but when I replaced the file, the taunt no longer worked and the default laugh (Used by Shadow Trooper, Reelo, etc.) took place. Therefore, I must have done something wrong. How can I adjust the volume of the taunt.wav in the pk3? This would also be a good notice for the creator to look at - the taunt's volume is too soft! How exactly do I modify the taunt volume so it's louder?
Commodus Posted April 7, 2003 Posted April 7, 2003 Try downloading Cool-Edit or getting Sound Forge to edit the sound with. Also, what did you save the sound as? I think sounds in JK2 have to be 44,100 Hz (?), Mono, and 16 bit. I'm not sure what the specific format is though.
