Archimech
I am working on modelling a very large ship. I thought I had read in a Quake3 forum that the maximum physical size of an .md3 model fits into a cube 1024 x 1024 x 1024 radiant units. I broke up my model into sections, so that each .md3 exported from Milkshape would fit in that cube. However, most of the sections still get corrupted when brought into JK2Radiant as misc_models. Any ideas what is wrong? Or any links to md3 exporting tutorials?
clu
Not sure if you have seen this one, maybe it'll help: Importing Custom MD3 Models from GMax/3DS Max into Radiant http://richdiesal.jedioutcastmaps.com/tutorials/vol_cm.html -clu
Wudan
Use Q3Map2, it builds static models in to the BSP, so you can use a wider array of formats and your model can be lit (and clipped, to an extent) by Q3Map2.
