Natty At School
OK, it's kinda complicated but nevermind. I got into a major fight with some sad 40something yo guy on another forum, and the otherday I opened up a topic by him and it had a pic and my IP on the pic. When other people opened up this topic he created, their IP was shown on the pic. Anyways, I know some info about him but lately my firewall has been going off the chart with someone trying to hack into me. Thing is a friend of mine reckons she's been hacked since nothing on her computer works anymore, it's going seriously slow blah blah blah. We think it's the same guy (and believe me this guy is seriously deluded) I remember a few years ago I asked if there was an IP checking website that when you entered in the IP number it came up with what company that IP belonged to, what company and all that sort of thing. Does anyone know the website I'm talking about? It's so complicated it's not funny and I wouldn't ask for help or anything if I didn't believe that there was a case or whatever for this to be checked. If anyone can help me somehow, can you email me? shimma_girl@yahoo.com

Joshi
Internet Protocol. each computer ahs a unique IP which ever mod and admin here can see if they want to, but only ever do it for security purposes. frankly, if a really good hacker was good enough and stupid enough to take the long way around it, they could hack into your computer with it, but it is the most easily accessable info about your computer on the internet, but still very hard to hack with.
