Incredible_d
Well, 8 of 12, now that I've got your attention... my microphone isn't working. I've tried everything that makes sense, and I'm thinking I might have to go out and buy a new one. I don't know whether BMI was still going on anyway, but I thought you might want to know. Plus... I'm wondering exactly who did what voices. As far as I can tell, Stanley does Number Two, Davros, The Stormbloopers and the Security Guys. And I know Stuart does Darth Vapor, that you do Moldy-Bun Baloney, and that the same guy does both Lube and Narrator. But who does Ham Slo-Mo and who does The Wookie? And is Ham Slo-Mo supposed to be... how do I put this nicely... as *effeminate* as he comes off in Lost Cause, or am I hearing things? So, Stanley called him Paint Scraper. PAINT SCRAPER???? I'm sure I'm not the only one confused. He must be an... interesting... guy. Is his Number Two voice his natural voice? And what the hell does he do for a living? MJ
Microphone not working. Gahhh. Beneath Monkey Island is still going, yes. It was partially derailed thanks to assignments and home problems (I'm currently in the process of moving house) but part 1 will be online tonight. It's completed with the exception of one sound effect, which I pick up from the radio station today. Wondering exactly who did what voices in Lost Cause... Well I hate to type it, but Stuart Moncrieff was not involved in Lost Cause. He'd moved to Queensland for a while when it was recorded. Stanley Brain did the voices of Number Two, various stormtroopers, Davros, and Ham Slowmo. And yes, Ham was intentionally very feminine. It was just for something different. When not providing voices he can be found working in the marketing department of the radio station where Nightlight Productions are recorded. And his normal voice sounds nothing like Number Two. Actually, if you downloaded The Howard Christmas Carol last year, he also did the voice of Peter Costello, and THAT is his normal voice. Lawrence Aitcheson, the only professional actor out of the lot of us, did the voice of Lube Skystalker, the Narrator, and various stormtroopers. While I did the voices of See-Creepio, Mouldy-Bun Baloney, Pooey the Wookiee, and Darth Vapour.
Incredible_d
I was almost sure that Stuart was Vapor, because his voice sounded a lot like Le Parka. Either way, I couldn't tell that there were so many multi-roles. You guys obviously have a lot of talent.
MJ
It was pointed out to me that between Tomas (Tierra) and Vapour (Lost Cause) I have the voices of Sully and Mike from Monsters Inc nailed down pretty well.
Incredible_d
you mean Billy Crystal and John Goodman? You really ARE the king of wishful thinking! Just kidding. They're similar, actually.
