boinga1
I was playing my friend, him, he, and a comp ally, against 2 other alliues yesterday. well, partway through the comp turned on him, not me. after we beat the other 2 comps i decided I would turn on my ally to end the map. he kept saying, "wait" and the like, and I (naively) waited. So, we had almost taken him out when he turned on me! By the time I was set to enemy my 6 at-ats, 2 at-pts, 2 sith masters, 6 fighters, and 6 bombers had all either been killed or converted. We had been fighting the airspeeder spamming rebels and the geo warrior spamming confederacy, and my army was hence configured to a heavy hitting group, with cannons, and anti-air (i had walker research, too). He had about 15 jedi and as many strike troopers. Anyway, he shot down my two aircruisers when they got too close to his a-a turrets (a shame: he had no other a-a). Then we were sort of at a stalemate, for I had a well-defended base with no army, and he an army with a little-defended base. Most of the nova and ore was gone: I was living off holos. Then, something happened to the connection, and the thing froze up for a sec. Then I was shown a screen asking if I wanted to continue, save and exit, or wait. I said "continue". I was then told that my old ally had disconnected. Then the screen came up, playing the victory music, and showing me the crosssed lightsabers of a winner. Not that it mattered; I was really beaten. AlliedCommander
I don't get it. (where's the high statistics and destruction of the enemy?)---there wasn't this, so it looks like a wacky diplomacy game but nothing else.
JediMasterEd
*sigh* Allies...they never last on on-line games some of the time...course that's just me talking. I'm sure it's a different story with other players.

It was a sort of insane diplomatic game, i suppose. eh-"high statistics"?? Just griping a little, seeing what other experiences others have had. btw, i know we could have had lock teams on but, he was host, and well....it's too late now [duh]. AlliedCommander
I actually don't like locked teams. When the enemy has like 4 units left, and it had been an easy game, i would like to turn on my allys for some fun (even if i die). Hey, its more fun than winning a game in 30 minutes because your allies rushed some rookies.
