JerAir1587249581
ok, I make a skybox, put in a light, use bsp full vis to make sure it works, run the game, and the sky doesn't show! Instead, there is just whiteness everywhere and I tried everything I could. Anyone have a solution?
Leslie Judge
How did you make that sky? Exactly?
JerAir1587249581
well i tried using a reg. texture and it looked fine, but when i switched it to a sky, it goes all white. i looked at the rich diesal tutorial, and it said it would appear as a checherboard. but when i put it in, it has the word sky written all over it
Obsidian-Jovani
Are you texturing the "sky" with a shader?
Leslie Judge
Aha, OK. IF you see that SKY text all over it, then it's OK. I mean in the editor. In the game it has to show up as a normal sky. If you still need help then... What is the name of the sky you use? Does it have a white border in the textures window? As you can see from Obsidian-Jovani's question the sky is a shader, and shaders have that white border in the textures window.
JerAir1587249581
no, i dont think so. i might have messed up and somehow put caulk in it. but i changed it back. im gonna experiment some more with caulk. actually i think i might have put the caulk in after i put in the sky... im pretty confused and here is the link about caulk i used: http://richdiesal.jedioutcastmaps.com/tutorials/gc102lsn1.html
