mouse have gone muffed

I have re installe the mouse and it is a 5 button mouse

 

when i use the button on the side it automaticly throws my light saber

 

how do i stop it doing that and why is it doing that

That's your alternate fire, mate.

I'm assuming you're talking about MP here, but this should apply for SP too:

Go to Controls then Attack/Look. Click Alt.Attack then press Backspace (not delete) and you should get three red question marks where the 'bind' previously was.

 

Then, click it again and this time press the key you want to use for Alt Fire.

 

You can re-assign most of your keys this way.

 

Personally, I'd love to have a 5-button mouse and assign that to a button but if you want Force Powers on there that's fair enuff.

it has not worked i think i pressed backspace on the mouse codes i need to get rid off

 

however when i press mouse button 5 it still fires and mouse button 4

Microsoft Mouse? Anyways, check your settings for the mouse outside the game. You probably can assign them buttons. Also check the company's website. they might have some sort of patch. Maybe the Latest Drivers will help.
