Binding Multiple Keys, ex: e for next item; shift+e for previous item

I'm pretty new to the game and wanted to know if it's possible to bind combinations of keys.

Example:

E could be used for "Next Inventory Item" and SHIFT+E could be for "Previous Inventory Item".

Any help would be great, the folks around here seem to really know there stuff.

Yeah, it's a shame too, it would be very helpful if we could use multiple key strokes for stuff...

It might be possible. Try searching around in some Quake 3 (Q3) scripting sites. You might find what you're looking for.
