tonydomino
ok, for a good amount of time i had no problem installing & playing Jedi Outcast. then some months later i was attempting to reinstall it, and the process stopped at about 50% and asked for the file 'data3.cab'. what's bizarre is how one file could just vanish from a cd where i couldn't have manually deleted it myself. i've tried installing it over and over and the file is nowhere to be found. no other problems detected during install or gameplay prior to this file's disappearance. Andy867
The problem is probably that the CD is scratched or otherwise dirty, which is preventing the setup from successfully copying the file to the installation folder on your hard drive. I've had that happen with Soldier Of Fortune 2: Double Helix, another good game from Raven Software.
tonydomino
perhaps someone else who owns the game could email me that single file so i can install it correctly. Data3.cab doesnt have to be on the cd itself for the installation to continue, maybe that will work.
