GonkH8er
Question for anyone, mainly beta testers though... Anyone know how much playing online will eat into my download limit on cable? Moreso or less than say, Halflife, or some fps?
Daneel
Do you mean your bandwidth per second, or a flat amount of download capacity?
GonkH8er
Download limit... 3 gig per month, and I usually play on game servers hosted by my ISP so it doesnt chew up that 3 gig limit.
Daneel
Then you will have to play it by ear. Most broadband ISPs I know of charge by the width of the pipe, not the amount of content going through it. Since my ISP is the kind that cares about the bandwidth, and not the download amount, I can't give you a reasonable estimate. However, brace yourself for the first couple of weeks, as the devs patch up any holes that 500,000 users flooding the system create.
