impX Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 Just got done with my first newbie session of the game and I am quite happy to report that this lovely game works well with a GeForce2 64MB card. Even though many ppl frown on the card nowadays, it operates without any problems in SWG. I also have dial-up and experienced no lag whatsoever. The game ran smoothly (knock on wood). Of course, it helps that I have 512 MB of RAM and a moderate 1.67GHz AMD CPU as well. So those who will not or cannot buy the (much) more expensive 128 or 256 MB video cards, take heart. My card is less $40 nowadays on pricewatch. So if you just want to play the game and not ogle at all of the eye candy, then you won't need to pay for those uber cards ... for now.

jordie8472 Posted June 29, 2003 Posted June 29, 2003 That is good news to me. I have dial-up, (and will soon have) a new Radeon 9000, and 768 MB RAM. Plus, I have a 1.8 gHz Intel proceesor. Glad to know it works so well.
