Now I want to cancel my account and the extra month I bought, so that I can eek the mostout of my free month. I'll get a new mobop etc in a couple of weeks. I cant find a cancel account button anywhere... Help? gp
waffleman Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 Sign in on the launch pad untill you get to the option to play, or it may start downloading and update in some cases. Anyway, click the account button, put in your name and pass, then cancell away.

Mujahid Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 Unfortunately, if it's anything like other MMOs out there (EQ, etc), there's no way to "eek out" any more from your free month. It's a "fire and forget" deal that takes place the moment you subscribe. At that moment, the clock starts ticking. You're not going to be able to cancel the account (to my knowledge) and come back a month later and still find "x" number of days left on your free account. Unless they've drastically changed things. But I doubt they have, given that SOE runs other MMOs too.
